During the 8th week of the build season — during the beginning of the week — the mechanical team had the drivetrain working and the electrical team resoldered the cancoders and began cable management. The team has also tested the robots abilities on getting up the Charged Up ramp and were able to grab cubes with the grabber. The CAD team has made a backup grabber design and assembly which is ready to be CNC’d. They also cut holes on the new inner 1×1 box tube. They mounted the new arm onto the robot and they wired the power and CAN to the mini neos. The cancoder 11 was replaced and rewired and the can bus is completely functional. Our robot can move and score and is ready for Regal Eagle Rampage!
