This was a 3-day event from March 27-29, though the team started their journey upstate The event was held at Tech Valley High School, Albany, NY. Not the whole team participated but there was a good turnout of students traveling there. Our team participated in a number of matches, participating in 9 qualifying matches and 2 semifinal matches. Here is a summary from a participating student:
“We participated in many qualifying matches… After that, there was an alliance selection, where top teams selected who they wanted in their group for the final matches. Many alliances faced off in the upper bracket and lower bracket, where if you lost in the upper bracket, you would go down to the lower bracket, and if you lost in the lower bracket, you would be eliminated from the competition entirely.“
We ranked 13 out of the 56 teams that participated.
