Kitbot: On 01/28/26 the electrical system was completed except for motor controllers. The board still needs to be secured and the Lexan panel reinforced with Velcro. The intake can spin but needs further testing to confirm it can successfully intake fuel.
Mechanical Team: Continued prototyping the intake and climber. The intake was prepared electrically for testing with a mounted Lexan panel for motor and wire protection. The climber team analyzed a single-box Level 1 design using a low gear ratio for smooth operation and efficiency.
Programming Team: Created a new Java project in VS Code for testing. Began integrating a Neo motor with a SparkMax controller and worked on dependencies, along with button-to-command motor controls for training.
Electrical Team: Completed intake wiring for testing, secured connections, installed a protective Lexan panel incase of falling objects, and made progress connecting the radio to the control panel.
Carpentry Team: Progressed on construction of the blue alliance hub ramp and finished painting the red alliance hub to prepare practice field elements.
Field: Tested Cheesy Arena with the WCP access point and verified lighting and AprilTag visibility.
